Campers at festivals have the same basic needs. Accommodation, water, sanitation, communications and power. Buying, packing and lifting it all is a drag, and after the music ends, old tents are abandoned, creating a huge environmental problem.
We have created a simple, robust one stop solution for the global festival market, providing everything a festival goer needs.
INTRODUCING FESTIVAL IN A BAG
Anne, our founder started with a concept idea at the beginning of 2019 at her kitchen table with the purpose of providing a one stop time saving camping solution for festivals and other camping events.
WHO WE ARE
Festival in a Bag is an independent company not constrained by any corporate ties and therefore has the ability to supply directly to the festival goers anytime, anywhere with an emphasis on style and sustainability.
Festival In a Bag would like all festival attendees to consider what they bring to camping sites by providing this one stop solution. We have developed a unique auditing system to enable the festival goer to identify their bag. When delivered each bag has a number on the back of the bag. Just log on to [email protected] and register your bag. This number will be recorded in our database, helping identify if lost or left at the event.
A super strong 65 litre rucksack, retailing at just £129.99.
Festival in a Bag is a sturdy, waterproof, lightweight 65 litre rucksack designed with purpose in mind. It comes packed with a full camping kit – tent, mat, sleeping bag, and water bottle, just add your clothes etc and you are set. NO need to shop around. For extras why not try the Jolly Turtle hygiene kit available in The Shop.
We ask you to re-use or recycle your Festival in a Bag and its contents, the bag can be used time and again at festivals, the tent, sleeping bag and mat can be re-packed simply and again. The water bottle is not just for festivals, take it to work, school, college, university or on holiday.
Tents are a massive issue at festivals, the biggest item to be left behind, Festival in a Bag tent can be used many times, it is not a single use item, it packs down well so you can use it again.
Many festivals are working towards increasing sustainable travel to events, why not consider big green-bus who operate all over the UK. Travelling by train rather than car. Many festivals operate courtesy buses at stations, this cuts down on the amount of car parking and traffic jams, please consider it.
Most land will be reclaimed after festivals to farming, so be aware that anything you leave behind if not picked up could cause harm. We suggest the following to minimise the impact of plastic at a festival. Anything that you can unwrap at home safely please do, this will reduce the amount of plastic left at festivals.
If you can’t take home any of your camping equipment, please please use the charity bins provided by festivals, that way you are making a great contribution to charity, don’t just leave it on the ground for someone else to pick-up.
